IT/OT Cybersecurity Engineer

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert support for IT and OT systems within a pharmaceutical manufacturing setting.
- Manage and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including Ethernet LAN and Wi-Fi.
- Configure, deploy, and maintain Cisco and Palo Alto firewalls and network hardware.
- Install, configure, and support hardware components such as servers, workstations, switches, firewalls, and NAS systems.
- Deploy and support Windows operating systems across domains, managing Active Directory policies.
- Build, deploy, and troubleshoot HyperV virtualization environments.
- Support Dell hardware, including servers and workstations.
- Ensure cybersecurity best practices are integrated into all systems and processes.
- Maintain detailed system documentation, including URS, DS, DDS, validation, and verification records.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support system validation, compliance, and documentation.
Required Skills:
- 7+ years of experience in an IT and/or OT projects & support environment
Note: IT and/or OT experience in a Pharma/Manufacturing/GMP environment an advantage but not essential - Strong background in networking (Ethernet LAN & Wi-Fi), Cisco hardware, and network troubleshooting.
- Experience with hardware installation, configuration, and support (Servers, Workstations, Switches, Firewalls, NAS).
- Proficiency in Windows OS deployment and troubleshooting (Win 10/11, Windows Server versions 2008-2022).
- Hands-on experience with Active Directory management.
- Knowledge of HyperV virtualization environment deployment and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with IT/OT cybersecurity protocols and best practices.
- Experience with firewall configuration and management (PaloAlto and Cisco).
- Knowledge of Ethernet cabling infrastructure (copper and fibre).
- Strong documentation skills for systems and validation processes.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- A primary degree in IT, OT, or a related discipline is advantageous but not essential.
- Previous experience working in a pharma, manufacturing, or GMP environment is a plus.
