LSC have a great contract opportunity for a Utilities Engineer to join a South Dublin based Biopharmaceutical company that specializes in secondary manufacturing activities such as Formulation, Fill Finish and Packaging.
If you have 3+ years of engineering experience working in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry and are ready for your next challenge, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support the delivery and operational readiness of utility systems for a new fill-finish facility, from mechanical completion through to handover.
  • Establish CMMS and maintenance readiness in IBM Maximo, including asset hierarchies, equipment, PM structures, job plans and spare-parts data.
  • Support commissioning activities, field walkdowns, loop checks, initial calibrations, documentation review and issue resolution as systems come online.
  • Develop preventative maintenance and calibration programmes in line with vendor recommendations, site standards and GMP requirements.
  • Coordinate equipment documentation, SOPs, vendor training, spare parts and maintenance agreements to ensure operational readiness.
  • Work cross-functionally with System Owners, Maintenance, Commissioning, Validation, Quality and vendors, supporting change controls, investigations and technical problem-solving.

ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?

  • 3+ years' engineering experience within a GMP pharmaceutical/biotechnology environment, ideally involving utilities, commissioning, maintenance readiness or operational handover.
  • Strong hands-on IBM Maximo experience across asset management, PM/job plans, work orders, calibration and spare-parts data.
  • Engineering degree or equivalent relevant experience, with strong practical knowledge of utility systems, GMP/GDP, change control and commissioning activities.
