ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Layout of Process equipment systems using 2D and 3D software packages to produce drawings from concept through to construction issue.
- Designs and Models piping systems including supports using 3D modelling software. AutoCAD PLANT 3D, and NAVISWORKS SIMULATE
- Generates Piping design and detail drawings including General Piping Layouts, Piping Isometrics and Pipe Support Details utilizing 2D and 3D modelling software.
- Evaluate vendor equipment for design applications and assist with equipment specifications and reviews.
- Examine and validate Isometrics/G.As. for quality and compliance.
- Work with laser scanning vendors to get "as-built" information and work into design.
ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?
- 10 year minimum experience with piping layout, design, and supports in the Pharma/biopharma industries.
- Associated Degree or 2 year College course work preferred. Experience in lieu of Education is acceptable.
- At least 5 years of 3D CAD design experience in a technical software platform such as AutoCAD PLANT 3D, and NAVISWORKS SIMULATE
