ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage Quarterly Business Review, and Supplier Relationship Management processes for the team, to ensure that calendar is scheduled and maintained.
- Ensure that Procurement tools are updated by team.
- Develop and enhance current tools leveraging corporate tools where possible.
- Implement and enforce Procurement policies and procedures.
- Manage High Risk Vendor Governance process.
- Manage Risk Assessment Process.
- Support Direct Procurement Leads in both Large and Small Molecule Sourcing.
- Manage Procurement activity - RFI/RFP/RFQ's on selected projects and commodities.
- Negotiate commercial proposals and contract documents with vendors.
- Maintain procurement documentation.
- Co-ordinate internal and external meetings/reviews.
ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?
- 2 years' experience in Procurement.
- Previous experience in managing commodities in a pharmaceutical and GMP environment is essential - for example: Laboratory consumables, equipment and maintenance; Laboratory Services; Plant maintenance; Professional services; Direct materials.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, liaising with all levels across the organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to influence others- internally and externally.
- Demonstrated ability to act as project manager, and ensure that the team complete reviews as required.
- Demonstrated ability to lead meetings with vendors.
- Demonstrated excellent planning and organisational skills: ability to prioritise tasks, commitment to task completion and timelines, ability to manage varying workload/competing demands with minimal supervision.
- Demonstrated flexibility/ adaptability to meet business needs.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change in development & enhancement of processes.
- Strong sense of customer focus and teamwork (Ability to deal with unexpected issues in a constructive and understanding way).
- High proficiency in PC/IT skills: Microsoft office skills are essential.
- Report generation and data manipulation.
- SAP experience.
- Experience in eSourcing systems (Ariba preferred).
