Overview
As an HVAC Engineer, you will be an integral part of a multidisciplinary project engineering team, responsible for delivering innovative HVAC and building services designs for a state-of-the-art pharma/biotech facility. Your expertise will ensure seamless project execution from design through construction and commissioning, helping to support groundbreaking medical advancements.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in HVAC design and construction support within the Pharmaceutical or Biotechnology sectors
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including AF&ID's, design calculations, chiller design, and utility systems
- Ability to prepare detailed scope of work packages for tender and procurement processes
- Experience in co-ordinating and supervising contractors during construction and commissioning phases
- Skilled in reviewing project scope, schedule, budget, and safety protocols
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Proficiency in project programming, progress monitoring, and regulatory compliance
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience supporting BMS (Building Management System) design
- Knowledge of constructability reviews and safety assessments
- Familiarity with procurement of AHUs and related equipment
Preferred Education and Experience
- A Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Mechanical or related engineering discipline
- 5 to 10+ years' experience in HVAC and mechanical design within a construction environment
