LSC have a great contract opportunity for a Construction Manager to join a leading biotech company based in Leiden, Netherlands.

ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The Construction Manager leads and controls construction management activities across this Project, ensuring works are delivered safely, compliantly and in line with approved scope, schedule, budget, quality and project objectives.
- The role provides construction leadership across site development, new build, utilities, manufacturing, laboratory and freezer areas, with focus on safe execution, contractor coordination, risk management, change control, construction handover and commissioning readiness.
- The Construction Manager works with Engineering, E&PS, Project Delivery, Safety, Quality, Procurement, Operations, Commissioning and Qualification teams to ensure construction is planned, resourced, governed and executed to required standards.
ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?
- Dutch speaking essential
- Significant construction management experience on large-scale capital projects, preferably in pharmaceutical, biopharmaceutical or regulated manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of construction safety, contract management, contractor coordination, project controls, schedule management and cost awareness.
- Experience supporting delivery from design and construction through commissioning and qualification.
- Ability to lead cross-functional teams, influence stakeholders, resolve field issues and maintain alignment across workstreams.
- Working knowledge of clean utilities, process systems, automation interfaces, manufacturing facilities, laboratories and support infrastructure is desirable.
