ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Provide specialist advice to management and staff by interpreting health, safety, and environmental legislation, as well as corporate standards, policies, and industry guidance.
- Deliver high-quality Health and Safety training, communications, and technical support to all levels of the organisation.
- Oversee the development, integration, and continuous improvement of hazard identification, risk assessment, and other Safety Culture programmes.
- Apply knowledge of relevant legislation and industry practices to understand and implement Environmental Health and Safety requirements within project environments.
- Support behavioural safety programmes aimed at injury prevention and reinforce a mature safety culture through integrated safety practices and open conversations about safety.
- Support the completion and review of Risk Assessments.
ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Occupational Health and Safety, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong IT proficiency, including familiarity with standard software packages such as Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Experience working within an integrated, cross-functional Health & Safety organisation.
- Demonstrate ability to implement Health and Safety management systems and internal audit programmes in construction or project environments.
