LSC have a great contract opportunity for an Environmental Compliance Specialist to join a leading Global Pharmaceutical company based in Cork.

ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee waste management compliance , including the assessment and approval of new waste channels and the reduction of solid waste wherever possible.
- Provide onsite oversight for waste management service contracts.
- Prepare and manage all environmental compliance reporting: waste registers, hazardous waste tracking forms, annual environmental reports, and internal audits.
- Oversee compliance of the F-gas inventory/register, ensuring all refrigerant-containing equipment is tracked, labelled, and documented correctly.
- Ensure compliance with EU/Irish F-gas regulations, including leak-check frequencies, recordkeeping, proper refrigerant handling, and certified personnel requirements.
ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?
- Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, Environmental Science, or a closely related field.
- A minimum of 5 to 7 years' experience in environmental compliance/engineering
- Comprehensive understanding of environmental legislation and compliance procedures.
- Prior experience engaging with regulatory authorities, such as the EPA, is an advantage.
