LSC have a great contract opportunity for a Senior Project Manager to join a South Dublin based Biopharmaceutical company that specializes in secondary manufacturing activities such as Formulation, Fill Finish and Packaging.

ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • This is a Senior Project Manager position. The candidate would be responsible for scoping, managing and delivering projects up to €10m in value.
  • The candidate would be expected to run the projects with some strategic guidance from their manager/peers but have the ability to work independently for the most part. It is very important that the candidate has experience running projects - that could be either for another pharmaceutical company (or similar), a design house or a contractor.
  • They will be leading a multi-departmental team to execute the project, so will need the soft skills to manage people, particularly when they are not direct reports. Construction and/or process equipment specification/qualification experience would be very beneficial.
  • It is critical for this individual to understand that Safety, Quality and Compliance are our highest priorities in how we manage and perform our work.
  • The Senior Project Manager will lead project teams and interact across functional and site department groups to achieve project objectives. These capital projects could include new builds, facilities/utilities system and/or equipment lifecycle replacements, upgrades, manufacturing improvements and changes to support New Product Introductions.
  • With minimal guidance, the candidate will lead all aspects of their project(s): Safety, planning, cost, schedule, risk, communications, resources, team dynamics and performance, implementation, monitoring, completion and follow-up.


ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Relevant Experience?
  • Typically,?5+ years project management/engineering experience, preferably in the biotechnology industry / aseptic pharmaceutical environment
  • Proven project management experience from project inception through to handover
