LSC has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Process Engineer to join a pharmaceutical company in Cork.
You will be working in a site that supplies active ingredients through complex chemical synthesis and biotechnology manufacturing processes for a range of therapeutics.
Description
- The Senior Process Engineer will be working as part of the multidiscipline project engineering team on site.
- Previous design experience in the Pharmaceutical/ Biotechnology industry is essential.
Required Skills:
- Process calculations and development of PFDs and P&IDs (LM & SM)
- Preparation of specifications for process equipment.
- Interface with supplier's engineers to prepare technical bid analysis and recommendations.
- Design of process equipment, P&IDs, material & personnel flows, process utilities, waste streams.
- Client liaison, attendance at project meetings etc
- Design support and input to the Project / Construction team.
Education, Experience and Skills:
- Degree in Chemical or Process Engineering
- Ideally a chartered engineer or progressing towards chartership
- Completion of Design Risk Assessments
- Organised and adaptable with a flexible approach to Process/Project Engineering.
- At least 10 years design experience in the Pharmaceutical and Biopharmaceutical sectors
