Description:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Senior HMI SCADA Engineer to join our dynamic team. As a Senior HMI SCADA Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining Human-Machine Interface (HMI) and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems.
Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing HMI and SCADA systems according to project requirements.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather user requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
- Configuring and programming HMI and SCADA software to ensure smooth operation and efficient data acquisition.
- Integrating HMI and SCADA systems with other control systems and ensuring seamless data exchange
- Conducting system testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve any issues or bugs.
- Creating and maintaining HMI and SCADA system documentation, including user manuals and technical specifications.
- Providing technical support and training to colleagues as required.
- Staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and advancements in HMI and SCADA technologies.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proven experience in designing, implementing, and maintaining HMI and SCADA systems.
- Strong knowledge of HMI and SCADA software, such as Aveva InTouch standalone as well as System Platform (previously Wonderware) and Factory Talk View.
- Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in HMI SCADA systems, such as C#, Java, or VBScript and SQL knowledge.
- Strong Knowledge in Microsoft Server operating Systems.
- Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC, Suitelink) and networking concepts.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity principles and techniques for securing SCADA systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members and clients.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and platforms in the HMI SCADA field.
