LSC have a great contract opportunity for Senior Electrical Engineer to work in Medical Device company in Limerick
Role Purpose:
Senior/lead electrical engineer required to operate within multifunctional project engineering teams, delivering new and modified equipment in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
This senior technical role requires a candidate with the experience, technical ability, and confidence to take the lead on all electrical aspects of the design and commissioning of automated machinery from the LV distribution to the 24V control systems.
ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Oversee and review the development, testing, and installation of Electrical distribution and control system as part of a highly automated, high volume 24/7 validated production environment.
- Participate within project teams, provide technical support, and make informed decisions on Electrical and control system hardware and architecture selection within a multi-functional multidiscipline team environment.
- Advise in fault-finding of complex automation equipment and control systems when required.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation to Medical Device standards.
- Inspect new and existing vendor electrical equipment for compliance with Electrical requirements.
- Carry out electrical commissioning assessments and sign-off new/modified installations.
ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?
- Minimum Level 8 Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Strong knowledge of current Irish and international electrical standards, directives, and best practices.
- Design and commissioning of LV Distribution and MCC systems.
- Design and commissioning of 24V Controls and Automation systems.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience, preferably in a GMP environment.
