LSC have a great contract opportunity for a Reliability Engineer to join a global Biopharmaceutical company in Cork. The facility specializes in the fermentation, purification, and sterile filling of biotech products, as well as supporting product development and clinical trials.
ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Develops engineering solutions to prevent repetitive failures and costly equipment problems.
- Maintains the Condition Based Maintenance (CBM) program such as vibration, thermography, and other predictive analyses, supporting the interpretation of the results.
- Analyses equipment history within the CMMS to assure effectiveness of all maintenance efforts, reducing regulatory concerns, both cGxP and EHS.
- Reduces and improves maintenance work, assuring efficient and reliable operation of plant, process, and equipment while protecting and prolonging the economic life of plant assets at optimal cost.
ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?
- Engineering degree qualification, preferably mechanical or electrical.
- 3+ years of professional experience.
- Desirable +3 years of experience working in a similar role in industrial environment or within a specialized consultancy.
- Ability to analyse and identify trends and patterns.
- CMMS knowledge highly desirable.
- Analytics experience with maintenance data can be an advantage.
