Exciting Growth Opportunity in a Dynamic Project Environment
Are you an enthusiastic, team-oriented engineer looking to make a real impact on large-scale projects? We are seeking a proactive and personable Project Engineer to join a busy and expanding project team. This role offers the chance to work across diverse projects-from new builds to maintenance and utility relocations-over the next 12 months. If you're eager to contribute to meaningful projects in a collaborative environment, this is the opportunity for you!


Overview:
As a key support to our project team, you will be involved in a variety of exciting initiatives, including a multi-million euro new build, utility relocations, locker room upgrades, electrical projects, and other ongoing assignments. Your role will be instrumental in liaising with contractors and vendors, managing queries, and ensuring project progress aligns with client expectations.


Required Skills:

  • Strong communication and listening skills
  • Ability to liaise effectively with contractors, vendors, and internal teams
  • Experience working on civil, mechanical, or electrical projects
  • Good understanding of Health & Safety protocols (preferred, but not essential)
  • Enthusiastic, proactive, and team-oriented mindset
  • Comfortable working both in the field and on administrative tasks, with less paperwork involved


Nice to Have Skills:

  • GMP (Good Manufacturing Practice) experience
  • Background in civil, mechanical, or electrical engineering
  • Exposure to H&S procedures and regulations
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously


Preferred Education and Experience:

  • Degree or equivalent qualification in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering or related field
  • At least 1 year of relevant engineering support experience
  • Prior project liaison or field experience is advantageous


Other Requirements:

  • Willingness to work in the field across multiple project sites
  • Ability to adapt and stay flexible in a busy project environment
  • Commitment to a 12-month initial contract, with potential for contract extension or rollover
