LSC have a great contract opportunity for an Operations Engineer to join a top 10 Pharmaceutical company based in Tipperary.
The site supports the complete pharmaceutical small molecule process for Phase III clinical to product release and market support. On site processes include API manufacture, formulation, OSD tableting, packaging and global logistics & distribution.
The facility takes in raw chemicals and ships finished medicines to end users. This site has grown from an API site to a strategically important campus that supports critical stages of the company's drug lifecycle.
ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Acts as primary delegate for the Production Leader.
- Provides on-the-floor technical support to the Shift Manager Leaders, including: Alarm investigation and troubleshooting.
- Attending daily handover meetings and Day-to-Day troubleshooting.
- Provides technical/operational expertise on continuous improvement projects.
- Mentors engineers in the Process Technical Group in equipment and operations so they achieve more hands-on knowledge.
- Provides support to meet production and turnaround schedules.
ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?
- B. Eng Degree in Chemical and Process Engineering.
- Minimum 3 years of industry experience.
- Lean Six Sigma Certification required - minimum yellow belt certification.
