Material Planner

Key Responsibilities:
- Manage Material Requirements Planning (MRP) in SAP aligned with the Master Production Schedule to meet operational needs.
- Convert purchase requisitions into purchase orders and monitor supplier invoicing and payments.
- Oversee end-to-end inventory management, including safety stock, expiry, FIFO/FEFO, and lead times.
- Issue quarterly supplier forecasts and coordinate with stakeholders on material readiness.
- Maintain accurate SAP master data for all material components.
- Resolve aging receipts, schedule conflicts, and exceptions proactively to ensure timely delivery.
- Participate in global review meetings, performance reviews, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Generate KPIs to evaluate supplier performance and support the development of cost-saving strategies.
- Facilitate cross-functional communication through meetings and reports to uphold schedule adherence.
- Lead or contribute to projects focused on lean manufacturing and operational excellence.
Required Skills:
- Strong experience with SAP in a supply chain planning or purchasing environment.
- Proven ability to manage end-to-end materials planning and inventory processes.
- Excellent analytical skills, with familiarity in data visualization tools like Power BI (desirable).
- Demonstrated knowledge of GMP environments and pharmaceutical manufacturing operations.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage vendors and cross-functional teams effectively.
- Results-oriented mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and operational efficiency.
- Ability to develop and implement efficient planning processes that align with company goals.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- Honor's Degree (NFQ level 7) in Supply Chain Management or related Business discipline.
- Supply Chain Certification such as APICS (preferred).
- Minimum 2 years relevant supply chain experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical or GMP industry.
- Experience with project management or lean methodologies (desirable).
- Proven track record of managing direct material categories, especially chemicals and Single Use Technologies (highly desirable).
