LSC have a great contract opportunity for a Senior Quality Engineer to join a leading medical device company based in Limerick. The companies FDA regulated Limerick facility has grown consistently over the last 20 years to become one of the most important sites in its global operations. This facility specialises in the production of disposable contact lenses in a state of the art operation which includes injection moulding, robotics, vision systems and sterilisation systems in a Class 100,000 cleanroom environment.
If you have 3-5 years relevant experience in Medical Devices/ Pharmaceutical Industry and are ready for your next challenge, this could be the perfect project for you!
ABOUT THE PROJECT – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Provides complex product team support for quality system design and audit, compliance assessment, and for support of steady state manufacturing processes
o Utilizes multifaceted industry and process excellence standards on an expert level in daily quality operations, including good manufacturing practices (GMP), equipment engineering system (EES), and international organization for standardization (ISO).
o Addresses and corrects product and process complaints.
o Reports on contract manufacturer performance metrics and ensures management reviews.
o Oversees audits of all quality system categories to assess compliance to process excellence standards.
o Ensures comprehensive measurement systems to monitor effectiveness of quality and reliability systems to identify, bracket, correct and prevent defects, presenting reports to management
ABOUT YOU – ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?
o Degree Qualified with science or Engineering Degree
o CAPA and RCI experience
o Risk management experience
o Automated process controls experience
