LSC have a great contract opportunity for Biologics Process Maintenance Technician to join a biopharmaceutical company based in Westmeath. The company is focused on serving patients with severe and ultra-rare disorders through the innovation, development and commercialization of life-transforming therapeutic products.
If you have 5+ years’ experience performing facilities and maintenance support activities in a cGMP commercial manufacturing environment, preferably with experience on some or all of the following: Downstream Processing (Ultra or Dia-filration), Vial Filling Equipment (Isolator or RABs technology) and are ready for your next challenge, this could be the perfect project for you!
ABOUT THE PROJECT – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Proactively ensuring that all Environmental, Health and Safety responsibilities are carried out according to EHS regulations and procedures.
o Provide support to new equipment installations and product introductions.
o Maintaining the Maintenance Quality System by adherence to all relevant SOP’s, policies and cGMP requirements.
o Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks in accordance with site policies and procedures.
o Responding to equipment breakdowns in a timely manner.
o Maintaining spare parts, change parts and equipment both within Manufacturing Areas and in the Engineering Stores.
o Ensure the Maintenance Management System is maintained correctly.
o Utilising and maintaining IT systems as required, e.g. Computerized Calibration Systems and Computerized Maintenance Management Systems.
ABOUT YOU – ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?
o Associate Degree and/or technical certification in a mechanical, electrical or related field is required.
o Prior hands-on experience with CMMS and Computerized Calibration Systems.
o Prior experience with Quality Management Systems.
Bioprocess experience is a must.
