LSC have a great contract opportunity for a Project Manager is required for a global Biopharmaceutical company in Carlow. This is a state of the art vaccines and biologics manufacturing facility currently producing many products in various therapeutic areas. Site activities include the development of next generation oncology products, Formulation of Vaccines & Biologics, Fill finish / Vial filling, Packaging and Global distribution. The team on site are focused on creating an environment where excellence, innovation, quality, compliance and teamwork support their strategy to meet the needs of their global patients.

ABOUT THE PROJECT – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
o The Senior Project Engineer will be required to plan and coordinate project activities to ensure the effective and efficient on-time delivery of the projects.
o Develop project objectives by reviewing project proposals and plans; conferring with management.
o Determines project responsibilities by identifying project phases and elements; assigning personnel to phases and elements; reviewing bids from contractors.
o Determines project specifications by studying product design, customer requirements, and performance standards; completing technical studies; preparing cost estimates.
o Determines project schedule by studying project plan and specifications; calculating time requirements; sequencing project elements.
o Maintains project schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
ABOUT YOU – ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?
o Degree qualification (Mechanical Engineering, Science, Technical).
o Project management qualification such as, Project Management Professional.
o Desirable: Evidence of Continuous Professional Development
o Preference for Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.
o 7+ years process / project management experience
o Demonstrated knowledge in more than one pharmaceutical or Biopharmaceutical operation (e.g. manufacturing, technology, validation, engineering)
