LSC have a great contract opportunity for a E&I SME Engineer to join a Limerick based Biotech Drug Substance Manufacturing Facility.

ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Construction Management Team Oversight:
- Monitor Progress: Supervise and track the progress of critical electrical room construction and associated electrical and instrument systems.
- Project Schedule: Manage and monitor project schedules, ensuring timely completion of electrical and instrument-related tasks.
- IDS & UPS Systems: Maintain and oversee Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems to ensure continuous and reliable power supply.
- Quality Assurance:
- Conduct thorough inspections and quality checks of installations to identify and rectify any deviations from design or industry standards.
- Review and approve relevant documentation, including installation records, test protocols, and commissioning reports.
- System Turnover and Integration:
- Collaborate with project teams and building contractors to ensure smooth turnover of E&I systems within individual buildings on the campus.
- Assist in the integration and coordination of E&I systems across different buildings to ensure proper functionality and operational efficiency.
- Technical Expertise:
- Serve as a technical resource for E&I engineering-related inquiries, providing guidance and solutions to challenges that may arise during construction and turnover phases.
- Collaboration:
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, engineers, contractors, and project managers, to ensure project milestones are met.
ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Expertise in UPS systems, electrical room construction, and electrical and instrument systems.
- Strong project management skills with a proven ability to meet project deadlines.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and experience in conducting safety assessments.
