LSC have a great contract opportunity for a DeltaV Automation Engineer to join a top pharmaceutical company based in Tipperary. The site supports the complete pharmaceutical small molecule process for Phase III clinical to product release and market support. On site processes include API manufacture, formulation, OSD tableting, packaging and global logistics & distribution. The facility takes in raw chemicals and ships finished medicines to end users. This site has grown from an API site to a strategically important campus that supports critical stages of the company's drug lifecycle.

ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Write User requirements for DeltaV modules
  • Review and Approve related Design Documentation.
  • Partner with local site project teams to scope changes on the DeltaV system
  • Participate in Agile sprint teams for software development
  • Participate in commissioning and qualification activities, including FATs, loop testing, onsite commissioning and testing
  • Follow the SDLC Procedure to implement changes (covering RS updates, RTM Change control, Implementation and test)
  • Ensure software is implemented in a safe fashion with quality a necessary output.
  • Configuring and testing in development system as required.
  • Educate local project teams on automation standards as they relate to technology selection, system configuration, SDLC, validation, hardware, software environments and business processes.
  • Partner with internal Digital departments ensuring standard and secure implementation


ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?

  • BS in Engineering, Computer Science, or other technical degree.
  • Training completed in DeltaV standard and batch. 3 or more years of experience in DeltaV application.
  • Proven record of proficiencies associated with business analysis on capital projects.
  • Excellent understanding of cGMP's, SDLC methodologies and LEAN/MPS/ Sigma principles.
  • Excellent facilitation, problem solving, and decision-making skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and define business problems, develop business cases, and identify appropriate process and technological solutions is essential.
  • Proven ability to work in cross functional teams.
