LSC have a great contract opportunity for a Construction Safety Engineer to join a South Dublin based Biopharmaceutical company that specializes in secondary manufacturing activities such as Formulation, Fill Finish and Packaging.
ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- We are looking for a qualified and experienced construction safety engineer to join our team and ensure that our construction projects comply with the highest standards of health and safety.
- Planning, implementing, and monitoring the safety policies and procedures on our construction sites.
- You will also conduct regular inspections, audits, and risk assessments, and provide training and guidance to the site staff and contractors.
- You will report to the project manager and liaise with the relevant authorities and stakeholders.
- Review and approve RAMS documentation
- Walk construction work with the contractor in advance of execution to safe practices are followed
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments, and identify and eliminate any hazards or violations.
- Prepare and maintain safety documentation, such as reports, records, permits, and certificates.
Experience and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, occupational health and safety, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience as a construction safety engineer or a similar role, ideally at a biopharmaceutical facility (or similar). Knowledge of the construction industry and the relevant safety regulations and standards.
