LSC have a great contract opportunity for BioTech Operations Support Representative to join a leading Cork based pharmaceutical company.
The Role:
The Biotech Operations Support Representative will provide support to the Biotech Operations group and maintaining the facility's GMP readiness and must have a strong commitment to safety and quality in the workplace.
Key Activities:
- Good planning and organisational skills, ability to priori?se tasks, commitment to task completion and timelines.
- Strong communication skills - oral and written.
- Strong sense of customer focus and teamwork. (Ability to deal with unexpected issues in a constructive and collaborative way).
- Intermediate level PC/IT skills (Word & Excel).
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Willingness to collaborate with work colleagues.
- Ability to work independently and without direct supervision.
Key Attributes:
- Design, generate and update facility/process procedures and logbooks. Support training activities if required.
- Design, generate and update Production Master Batch Records.
- Promote safety and quality culture in operations.
- Building Alarm monitoring and investigation if required.
- Ownership of improvement and sustaining business process e.g. electronic logbooks.
- Involvement with materials management to support Kanban management and cycle counting.
- Ownership of facility GMP readiness.
- Support product changeovers
- Liaising with vendors for equipment and consumables including return of damaged goods.
- Support protocol executions.
- Assist with daily operations when required.
Educational Requirements: Third level Qualification or equivalent education or relevant experience.
Language Requirements: Proficient in English.
