LSC has an exciting opportunity for a Supply Chain Associate - Customer Service to join a pharmaceutical company in Cork. This will be a dynamic environment that is constantly innovating, relies on cutting-edge technology to deliver life-saving medicines. You will be working in a site that supplies active ingredients through complex chemical synthesis and biotechnology manufacturing processes for a range of therapeutics.
Overview:
There is an opportunity for a Supply Chain Customer Service Associate reporting to the Associate Director, Supply Chain and Customer Service at our team. The role is based in a pharmaceutical company in Cork.
The position is responsible for managing end-to-end supply chain and customer service activities with third-party manufacturers within the Dry Product Network. This includes oversight of stock control and reconciliation at external sites.
Required Skills:
- Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external customers and suppliers.
- Liaise with local affiliates, external manufacturing organisations, contract manufacturing sites, internal manufacturing sites, and supply chain teams.
- Receive and process customer orders to ensure timely fulfilment.
- Coordinate logistics with contract manufacturers and ensure compliance with country?specific shipping requirements.
- Manage Ariba POs for freight and related services.
- Comply with internal and external controls, including GMP/GDP, OSSCE, and HSE requirements.
- Contribute to process improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing service levels, product flows, cost efficiency, and asset management.
Education & Requirements:
- Level 8 degree
- Additional qualifications in Procurement, Supply Chain, or Logistics (IIPMM, IPICS, APICS) are advantageous.
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in Supply Chain, Customer Service, Logistics, Compliance, or Operations.
- Strong computer skills, particularly SAP or similar systems, and MS Office (especially Excel).
- Preferred Experience in pharma contract or toll manufacturing.
- Experience in multinational organisations.
