ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work as part of a team of MS&T Process Analytics scientists to enable our global drug substance biologics network with reliability, integrity, active engagement, and cross-functional collaboration.
- Providing technical execution of analytical methods and data troubleshooting, remediation, and optimization under moderate supervision.
- Providing MS&T analytical support for process characterization of next generation processes.
- Partner with QC to assist in troubleshooting technical issues that may arise.
- Support development and qualification of new analytical test methods to support new/existing products.
- Conduct periodic review of method performance and work with team leader to design and execute remediation experiments and implement changes to existing commercial methods.
- Working collaboratively across organization and sites for method readiness, transfer, performance and trouble shooting in commercial environment
ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?
- A PhD, MSc or BSc in biological sciences, chemistry or related scientific disciplines is essential
- Relevant experience in bio-therapeutic development and industry experience.
- Demonstrated experience with analytical methods in late stage/commercial biologics process development and/or manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding and experience in assays used to test and characterize biological products (e.g. HPLC, gel and capillary electrophoresis, spectrometry (absorption, fluorescence, etc.), ELISAs, etc).
- Experience in method qualification and/or validation with extensive familiarity with regulatory guidelines and cGMP laboratory processes.
