ABOUT THE ROLE
Manufacturing Support Scientist/Engineer, reporting into the Associate Director for new product introduction within the Manufacturing group. The Manufacturing Support Scientist/Engineer for New Products role is a key contributor and part of the team for sustainable biologics manufacturing capacity.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration in process improvements and new product start-ups
- Spearhead risk assessments and product changeover protocols
- Champion process technology transfer and optimization
- Lead the charge in implementing a "Right-First Time Culture"
- Own and drive change controls, CAPAs, investigations, and improvement projects
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science, Engineering, or related field
- 3 + years experience with Upstream and Downstream GMP biologics manufacturing equipment and process automation
- Experience with NP, Tech Transfer an advantage
- Proficiency in systems such as Delta V, MES Syncade, and SAP
- Strong problem-solving abilities and project management skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Experience in lean manufacturing principles
