LSC have a great opportunity for a DeltaV Design Engineer to join a market leading global Automation systems OEM with an extensive product (HW & SW) and service offering working on site in a globally recognised client.
ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- The site houses advanced pilot plants, laboratories, and equipment for developing processes for producing various biological drugs, including proteins.
- The experienced Automation Engineer will be part of the NPI (New Product Introduction) project team, working in our highly automated plant
- Reporting to the Automation Lead, this role is part of the core Engineering Team, delivering on key projects as required.
- 5 day on site role supporting New product introductions.
- Working as part of an experienced Automation NPI site Project Team.
- Collaborating with Process SMEs, CQV Leads, and Automation Engineers to understand process requirements.
- Generating all the key technical inputs into functional design specifications from all stakeholders.
- Participating in and signing off on key Functional design aspects as required.
- Implementing the ACP's (Automation Change Pack) to make the required code changes.
- Supporting project reviews internally with key stakeholders within Automation and customers as required.
ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?
- Bachelors degree
- Minimum 5 years industry experience within DeltaV
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Analytical problem-solving skills.
- Active listening skills and ability to integrate diverse.
