Position: Training Project Manager Senior
Position Summary:
The Training Project Manager for Training/Learning and Development will take ownership of ensuring the effective deployment and project management of the site's training strategy ensuring that employees are adequately trained and ready to operate within a highly regulated manufacturing environment.
The Training Project Manager will ensure a seamless transition of the workforce to operational readiness by managing training workstreams, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring compliance with established timelines.
Responsibilities & Scope:
- Project management of the Training/Learning and Development workstream within the Operational Readiness program, including the coordination and implementation of the site-wide training strategy.
- Introduce metrics, dashboards and measurements to accurately measure the Business' performance to plan for training delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Ops, Engineering, QA, QCL, Maintenance, Supply Chain, HR, etc.) to define training needs and ensure training plans align with operational goals.
- Act as the key interface between the Training team and the Business departments, ensuring alignment of training objectives with overall start-up goals.
- Ensure the effective deployment of training programs for all site employees to support their readiness for the operational phase.
- Monitor and track the progress of training workstreams, providing regular updates and relevant metrics to governance forums.
- Partnering with relevant stakeholders and the ORP project management team to ensure clear scope alignment and resulting goals and timelines for the project are met.
- Liaise with the scheduling team to ensure the timely delivery of training plans, anticipating any potential risks and working proactively to mitigate them.
Key Requirements/Attributes:
- Third level Qualification
- 3+ years' experience in define training needs & training strategy, aligning training goals with operational needs.
- 5 + years' experience in delivery and project management of training plans and strategy across a large-scale operational environment
- Demonstrated experience with working with cross functional stakeholders and operations project management.
- Excellent self-management/organizational skills, manging of workload and setting team priorities,
- Demonstrated ability to manage in a dynamic environment. Flexibility to adjust quickly and effectively to frequent change and altered priorities.
- Strong interpersonal and team building skills; able to develop effective teamwork between team members with diverse interpersonal styles.
