LSC has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Analyst to join a pharmaceutical company in Cork. Key Responsibilities
- To manage Procurement activity on Indirect projects and commodities
- Responsible for RFI/RFP/RFQ's in Indirect Procurement areas
- Implement and enforce Procurement policies and procedures
- Negotiate commercial proposals, KPI's and contract documents with vendors
- Manage quarterly business review process, and Supplier Relationship Management processes for relevant vendors
- Maintain procurement documentation
- Co-ordinate internal and external meetings/reviews
- Assist in resolving invoicing issues
Key Attributes (required)
- 3 years' experience in Procurement with increasing levels of responsibility over that time
- Previous experience in managing Indirect projects and commodities in a pharmaceutical and GMP environment is preferrable:
- Construction;
- Production equipment;
- MRO;
- Facilities;
- Laboratory consumables, equipment and maintenance;
- Laboratory Services;
- Plant maintenance;
- Professional services.
- Demonstrated experience in negotiating and drafting supplies and services contracts preferred.
- Demonstrated experience in setting up, managing and renegotiating Outsourced Services and Managed Service Agreements preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, liaising with all levels across the organisation.
- Demonstrated ability to influence others- internally and externally
- Demonstrated ability to lead meetings with vendors
- Demonstrated excellent planning and organisational skills: ability to prioritise tasks, commitment to task completion and timelines, ability to manage varying workload/competing demands with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated flexibility/ adaptability to business needs
- Demonstrated ability to lead change in development & enhancement of processes
- Strong sense of customer focus and teamwork (Ability to deal with unexpected issues in a constructive and understanding way).
- High proficiency in PC/IT skills:
- Microsoft office skills are essential;
- Report generation and data manipulation
- SAP/Ariba experience, creating and updating Purchase Orders, reports etc ;
- Experience in eSourcing systems
- Excellent attention to detail
- Comfortable working alone, or as part of a multi functional team;
