LSC require an experienced Project Engineer to work on a multimillion dollar Biotech facility based in Dublin. Our client is a biopharmaceutical company focused on serving patients with severe and rare disorders through the innovation, development and commercialization of life-transforming therapeutic products.
The Project Engineer will be responsible for preparing scoping documents for funding approval and managing small projects that support facility and process improvements and new investments to support the sites business needs.The Project Engineer will ensure company policies, guidelines, and procedures are followed in the compliant execution of construction and start-up activities.
As Project Engineer you will:
o Prepare project charters and feasibility studies including business justification for new projects.
o Plan and execute multi-discipline capital projects, including project approach and resource needs, options analysis, process and equipment design, engineering document development, and system ownership through the project delivery phases of plan, design, procure, construct, commission and qualification for cGMP and development facilities, to meet projects’ scope, budget and schedule.
o Ensure that the companies business needs and priorities are clearly understood and that the project execution plan reflects the scope and schedule of these needs and priorities.
o Lead the project team through all project phases from design through to regulatory submission. Engage site functional SME support (Tech Services, Operations, Engineering, and Quality etc.) as required.
o Ensure all applicable comapny policies, guidelines, and procedures are followed in the compliant execution of construction and start-up activities.
The Project Engineer will require :
o BS in chemical or mechanical engineering or related field
o Minimum of 8 years’ experience working in an engineering role in the Pharmaceutical / Biotechnology industry.
o Significant experience with leading capital projects through design, construction and commissioning phases. This experience should include demonstrated ability to lead isolated filling line projects.
o Competent computer skills and use of MS Office, Project, PowerPoint, Word and Excel is required.
