Janssen Sciences are expanding their supply chain facility in Cork. The site in Ringaskiddy will see an investment of €150m alongside the possible creation of 180 jobs. The investment is the first announced for Cork within the Life Science sector this year. There is no doubt that brighter days are ahead and further investment for the region is likely, given its innovative business environment and skilled population.

Irish Tech News report that to meet the needs of Ireland’s growing STEM industry, at least 20% of Ireland’s children and young learners in schools will need to consider a career in STEM.
