LSC have a great opportunity for an DeltaV Lead to join a market-leading global Automation systems OEM with an extensive product (HW & SW) and service offering.
ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Customer Relations - support the relevant Project Leadership in understanding, managing and
achieving each customer's expectations.
* Project Execution - take ownership of the engineering activities (DeltaV DCS design,
configuration, testing, commissioning, and start-up) on all allocated deliverables and proactively
utilize methodologies, resources and techniques for minimizing the execution cost, whilst
maintaining the requisite schedule and quality standard; Manage a team of automation
engineers to deliver the assigned tasks.
* Project Management - support the Project Leadership in the development of a realistic and
achievable project schedule and provide them with all necessary information to ensure that they
are fully informed of resource requirements, progress and areas of risk for the allocated
engineering deliverables.
* Scope control - fully understand the scope of work for all allocated engineering deliverables
and ensure that it is delivered to the requisite quality, budget and schedule and that the relevant
Project Leadership is fully informed, at the earliest opportunity, of any customer-initiated changes
in scope.
* Quality control - ensure that all engineering activities are undertaken in accordance with the
Company's quality control processes and that the relevant standard is achieved - always adhere
to company's and customer Health, Safety and Environmental standards.
ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?
- Technical degree or equivalent
- 10+ years' experience with DeltaV focusing on the life-science industry.
- Experience in automation projects execution for different industry segments (Oil & Gas, Chemicals, Life sciences etc.), with DCS and/or PLC.
Note: Are you currently eligible to work in Ireland? As this is a contract opportunity you will need to hold a Stamp 1G/Stamp 4 visa to apply!
