Central Pharma to expand contract packaging and supply chain services in Kerry
Central Pharma, a leading outsource partner to the world’s top pharmaceutical and nutraceutical companies has announced it is to establish an EMEA accredited contract packaging and supply centre at the IDA’s Advanced Technology Building in Tralee. This move is set to create 100 jobs over five years. The company have further planned to partner with IT Tralee to expand their digital supply chain solutions for Pharma. Full article>>

600 jobs to be created as Irish gene firm is sold as part of €350m Chinese deal
The Ireland Strategic Investment Fund (ISIF), WuXi NextCODE (part of the Chinese WuXi Group), and Irish life sciences company Genomics Medicine Ireland (GMI), has announced details of a €350 million investment programme which is set to make Ireland an important hub for genomics research and development of new disease treatments and cures. The initiative will map Irish people’s genetic material in the hope of making medical advances and create up to 600 jobs over the next five years. Full article>>

Bausch Health to expand contact lens manufacturing facilities in Waterford and Rochester NY
Bausch Health Companies Inc. have announced investment plans to expand their contact lens manufacturing capacity at its Bausch + Lomb sites in Waterford as well as Rochester, N.Y. The Company is adding multiple production lines at both sites to support the manufacture of its daily disposable silicone hydrogel (SiHy daily) contact lenses. The investment is set to create an additional 100 jobs at the Waterford facility. Full article>>
