LSC have a great contract opportunity for Service Resident Engineer to join a market leading global Automation systems OEM with an extensive product (HW & SW) and service offering. The Cork based team are focussed on managing and supporting Automation projects in the Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology and Process industries, both in Ireland and globally. This is an excellent opportunity to work on technically challenging and diverse projects across multiple geographies

If you have level 6 qualification in an Engineering discipline (control engineering, computer science, or process Engineering etc.) or equivalent industrial experience and ready for your next challenge, this could be the perfect project for you!

ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform advanced maintenance tasks in accordance with customer requirements using software tools and equipment.
  • Provide recommendations to the customer on product or solutions, enhancements, and system health checks.
  • Act as primary focal point to the customer for system support for all manufacturing automation systems, delivering customer satisfaction with every interaction.
  • Troubleshoot PAS/MES/OEM PLC software applications and hardware issues. (Training to be provided)
  • Responsible for Quality compliance tor sustaining activities, meeting GMP, customer requirements.
  • Implement design changes to PAS/MES/OEM PLC systems in compliance with customer validation and quality control requirements.

ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?

  • Knowledge of Process Systems and Solutions products and GMP, ACCOA+ (i.e., GDP).
  • knowledge and experience of automation / IT and control systems in process industries, typically with a min of 3 years' experience.
  • Experience working across a broad range of automation platforms or IT Support, is an advantage.
