What will you do?
As part of LSC's continued growth, you'll be key to achieving the next phase of our strategic plan, selling LSC's market leading service offering into the rapidly growing Life Sciences market.


Key Activities:
o Lead the development of a sales team that can deliver both "Solutions" selling as well as day to day resourcing
o Maintain a high level of knowledge nationally and internationally on product & service development, competitor activity, and potential client requirements
o A key part of the role is creating a "smooth" sales pipeline that allows the organisation to flex and grow in line with the sales growth.
o You will work with the LSC team to develop, document the sales CRM process.
o Development of procedures, KPI's and metrics around the BD/sales functions and account manager roles
o You will create an annual sales forecast and budget and also a longer term 3-year strategic sales goals, which will feed into the business planning and resourcing strategies.
o Monitoring performance and motivating your team to ensure they meet company targets

Experience:
o Field Sales, Key Account Sales, Sales Manager or similar sales experience ideally within an Engineering, Services, Software or Scientific company servicing a regulated industry.
o Strong analytic skills to identify trends and gaps in activities and results in order to drive changes in team behaviours and build growth plans
o You will have experience of creating, developing and managing sales and CRM processes
o You will have a proven track record of exceeding sales targets and results on an annual basis in a solution-based service industry.
o Experience selling into large multinationals at all levels including Technical, Managerial and Executive stakeholders
o Previous experience of selling "complex solutions" to clients where the service offering adds significant value beyond unit price and across multiple functions.
