LSC has an exciting opportunity for a Process Engineering Technician to join a pharmaceutical company in Limerick. You will be working in a site that supplies active ingredients through complex chemical synthesis and biotechnology manufacturing processes for a range of therapeutics. ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Direct and drive the set-up of equipment/instruments for supply and NPI campaigns in IE2B, ensuring set up matches ePFD and set up ticket.
- Liaise with process engineers prior to campaigns for evaluation of equipment /routes to be used in the campaign, identifying modifications/connections required.
- Work with Small Projects group to ensure alignment of project work with existing facility set up and procedures.
- Provide expertise in all matters relating to IE2B instrument and equipment capability.
- Own the management (storage, cataloguing upkeep) of the mobile equipment and parts associated with the IE2B & IE26 facilities.
- Understand the fundamentals and critical steps in the production processes that you support.
ABOUT YOU - ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?
- Mechanical/ engineering/ technical qualification or experience
- Understanding of small molecule operations/ equipment/ utilities
- Demonstrated commitment to safety and quality in the workplace.
