LSC have a great contract opportunity for a MES Project Manager to join a leading Global Pharmaceutical company based in Cork.

ABOUT THE PROJECT - KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- New MES Implementations: Lead and manage the implementation of new MES solutions, ensuring alignment with business requirements, timelines, and quality standards.
- Platform Projects: Oversee platform projects aimed at enhancing and optimizing existing MES systems, driving innovation and efficiency within the organization.
- Support Efforts: Manage significant support efforts for MES applications, ensuring timely issue resolution, system maintenance, and continuous improvement.
- Project Leadership: Guide and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver successful MES implementations, platform projects, and support initiatives.
- Methodology Expertise: Demonstrate proficiency in both waterfall and agile project management methodologies, adapting approaches based on project requirements.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with stakeholders, end-users, and external partners to gather requirements, define project scope, and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks associated with MES implementations, platform projects, and support efforts.
- Quality Assurance: Implement and enforce quality control processes to guarantee the delivery of high-quality MES solutions and support services.
- Resource Management: Effectively manage project resources, including team members and external contractors, to optimize productivity and ensure project success.
- Reporting and Communication: Provide regular project status updates to key stakeholders, keeping them informed of progress, issues, and changes in project scope.
- Continuous Improvement: Drive continuous improvement initiatives within the project management process for MES implementations, platform projects, and support efforts.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field; advanced degree or certifications (PMP, Agile, etc.) preferred.
- 5+ years of proven experience in managing IT projects, preferably in the implementation of MES solutions.
- Strong knowledge of both waterfall and agile project management methodologies.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver projects on time and within budget, with a focus on quality.
- Experience in industries such as manufacturing, pharmaceuticals is a plus.
- Familiarity with MES software solutions and technologies preferable
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
