LSC have a great contract opportunity for a MES Lead to join a global Biopharmaceutical company in Cork. The facility specialises in the fermentation, purification and sterile filling of biotech products, as well as supporting product development and clinical trials.
If you have min. 3 years of experience in an MES Lead role in the pharmaceutical industry and are ready for your next challenge, this could be the perfect project for you!
ABOUT THE PROJECT – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Reporting to the Project Lead, specifically responsible for MES Systems (Werum PasX).
o This candidate will be required to work closely with the teams responsible for the full Automation and IT scope and with vendors / partners with responsibility for delivery of systems.
Develop and/or review System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) deliverables.
o Work with MES vendor in development of systems architecture, specifications, controls strategies, sequence of operations through all design stages
o Participate in Hardware and Software FATs and SATs.
o Provide input to the development of project schedules and document trackers.
o Participate in, and support, relevant project meetings.
o Liaise with stakeholders on the overall project to ensure clear communication between all parties.
o Required to comply with Global Policies, Procedures and Guidelines, regulatory requirements and execute current Good manufacturing Practices (cGMP) in the performance of day to day activities and all applicable job functions.
ABOUT YOU – ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?
o Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally in the Pharmaceutical industry.
o Experience in the commissioning of MES on site in a GMP manufacturing environment.
o Technical proficiency on controls systems including familiarity with control panels, networking, panel/field wiring and PLC control systems.
o Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science or the Life Sciences.
