LSC have an exciting contract opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer to join a multinational medical device company based in Cork. The Cork facility is a global centre for product development, manufacturing and supply chain.
If you have minimum two years’ experience in CNC (ideally in titanium but not mandatory), within a manufacturing environment and are ready for your next challenge, this could be the perfect project for you!
ABOUT THE PROJECT – KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
o The choosen candidate will develop, characterise and qualify the CNC machining process for a new product in line with existing manufacturing standards.
o A Pilot Production process will already be developed and so the bulk of the work will be in replication and optimisation.
o As part of the project team, your work will interact with CAD/CAM engineers, Quality, Process Engineering & Operations to develop, qualify & launch a manufacturing process.
ABOUT YOU – ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?
o A Relevant engineering/science degree.
o Minimum two years’ experience in CNC (ideally in titanium but not mandatory), within a manufacturing environment.
o Experience / knowledge of CAD/CAM and have a proven track record for learning new skills
