LSC have a great contract opportunity for a Senior 3D Printing Manufacturing Engineer to join a multinational medical device company based in Cork. The Cork facility is a global centre for product development, manufacturing and supply chain.
The Senior 3D Printing Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for:
o Providing technical leadership for projects in the area of 3D Printing and Materials Processes ensuring an integrated product and process development cycle.
o Support the development of long-term strategy for 3D Printing and Materials Processes
o Implement of cost effective 3D Printing and Material-related manufacturing solutions to drive engineering efficiencies
o Implement design for manufacturability in new processes to minimise lifecycle cost
o Lead detailed product / process design reviews
o Design, develop and conduct feasibility studies to assess new technologies or process improvements
The Senior 3D Printing Manufacturing Engineer requires:
o BSc in Materials/Mechanical/ Biomedical Engineering or a related discipline
o 2-4 years’ experience within a medical device company or similar industry.
o Project management experience
