{"id":39233,"date":"2023-08-08T10:48:29","date_gmt":"2023-08-08T09:48:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/lscconnect.com\/consultantconnect\/jobs\/ehs-specialist\/"},"modified":"2023-08-08T10:48:30","modified_gmt":"2023-08-08T09:48:30","slug":"ehs-specialist-39233","status":"publish","type":"wpbb_job","link":"https:\/\/lscconnect.com\/consultantconnect\/jobs\/ehs-specialist-39233\/","title":{"rendered":"EHS Specialist"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>LSC has a great contract opportunity for EHS Specialist to join a leading biotech company based in Cork.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>ABOUT THE PROJECT &#8211; KEY RESPONSIBILITIES<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Provide EHS support for projects and operational business at the site<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the design, implementation, maintenance and review of the company&#8217;s Environmental Health &amp; Safety programmes to ensure compliance with legislative, corporate and industry requirements and support the achievement of ISO14001 &amp; 45001.<\/li>\n<li>Assist in the management of all environmental related matters including, Waste, IE Licence, GHG Permit and GMO Permit.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with the preparation of EHS reports as required for both internal and external groups e.g. Corporate reporting requirements, EPA annual reporting for both IE Licence and GHG Permit.<\/li>\n<li>Conduct EHS Impact Assessments (IA) to ensure that all EHSS requirements and standards are in place.<\/li>\n<li>Provide EHS support for site projects &#8211; EHS by design, participate in site HAZOP process for projects, change control impact assessment<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>ABOUT YOU &#8211; ARE YOUR SKILLS A MATCH?<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A relevant third level qualification in Science, Engineering or EHS, with at least 5 years&#8217; experience in the environment, health and safety area is a prerequisite for the position.<\/li>\n<li>Good overall knowledge of legal requirements and best practices in both Environment and Safety<\/li>\n<li>Previous experience in dealing with regulatory agencies<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Note: Are you currently eligible to work in Ireland?
