LSC are currently looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join the Hybrid pharma project based with our Medical Device client in Limerick.
In this new role the Manufacturing Engineer will:
o Acts as an advocate for continuous improvement activities using statistical techniques, Lean manufacturing tools, Six Sigma, design experimentation for process and equipment, to achieve targets and cost savings.
o Take the lead in troubleshooting on equipment while providing Coaching and Mentoring to other engineering staff. Serves as a resource to other engineering disciplines in facility.
o Will have a prime role with respect to equipment and process safety ensuring J&J standards are met or exceeded at all times. Primary Tasks and Responsibilities Technical support for manufacturing:
o Utilise Lean Manufacturing tools; Troubleshooting and problem solving skills; Methodical approach to problem solving.
o Develop and improve planned maintenance regimes
o Train maintenance engineers on planned maintenance regimes
The Manufacturing Engineer requires:
o A level 8 qualification in Engineering with at 4 years’ experience in Medical Device or Pharma.
o Involved in machine commissioning
o Electrical/mechanical/pneumatic systems awareness. Control systems experience
o Experience in process transfer or large project roles in medical device environment
