LSC are currently looking for a Facilities Project Engineer to work with our client based in Waterford. The Facilities Project engineer will support the existing Facilities & Utilities engineer and construction manager with the construction of there an R&D Facility.
The Facilities Project Engineer Responsibilities:
o Ensure equipment design is safe & appropriate level of commissioning takes place to ensure safety functionality.
o Involvement in site construction support (receipt verifications & inspections)
o Management of support activities such as furniture installation, punch list items, spare management.
o Act as facilities engineer for handed over areas of the facility including active resolution of Facility and Utility issues during and post handover.
o Ensure project deliverables completed ahead of schedule.
o Track activities against schedule and flag & address risks
o Responsible for the associated budget for activities.
o Ensuring equipment is operational ahead of budget and flagging any risks.
Qualification & Experience
o Higher level Degree in Third level Engineering/Science qualification or equivalent
o Ideally 3+ years’ experience in pharma facility & utility support.
