Capital Project Manager required by a top five global pharmaceutical company based in Cork. The site is an FDA approved API and Bulk manufacturing facility. The site was one of the first Pharmaceutical sites in the country and has over the last 45+ years expanded and developed and today is a modern, highly automated and efficient facility. The site has seen continued investment and growth. This is an opportunity to join a team with a culture of teamwork, process focus, compliance and continuous improvement.

Excellent opportunity for Project Manager to coordinate and manage all phases of the Sites Capital projects

The Project Managers responsibility will be:
-Capital Project Planning; Interface with the area client representatives to agree Capital improvements in line with Safety. Quality and Business needs
-Initiation & Approval; Compile project estimates and schedules for approval by siter Management
-Detail Design; Manage all aspects of Detail Design process as per site Engineering guidelines
-Procurement; Ensure all project conform to Site Procurement / Compliance requirements
-Construction; Coordinate and manage PSCS roles as required for all projects
-Commissioning and Qualification; Coordinate / schedule all site C&Q activities as per site Project Lifecycle
-Maintenance Handover; Interface with area Plant Engineer to ensure the completed project is transferred to Operations / Maintenance as per site guidelines
-Capitalisation & Closeout; Ensure all projects are completed within the allocated Control Budget and all finance aspects of the projects are closed out during the Capitalisation phase

Qualifications and Experience:
-As a minimum the Capital Project Manager shall possess a degree in Mechanical, Marine, Electrical/Instrumentation, Chemical Engineering or equivalent experience and have a minimum of five years experience working in a relevant industry.
-Experienced and skilled at problem solving.
-Experience of managing budgets and cost control.
