Excellent opportunity for a Manufacturing Engineer
In this new role the Manufacturing Engineer will work as part of Engineering department with responsibility for the following,
o Drive process improvements/capacity increases through New technology/equipment introductions.
o Competent in validation requirements on new equipment introductions/processes/process changes.
o Design & develop tools, fixtures, gages and special equipment for manufacturing operations and new product / process introductions in conjunction with Toolroom Technicians and Manufacturing Engineers.
o Identify capital spend and budget requirements for process improvements.
o Preparation and maintenance of all relevant manufacturing specifications.
o Preparation and project management of all line extensions/NPI including supporting documentation as reqd.
o Focus on reduction of unit cost of production, through accountability for specific cells i.e. Consumable Cost, Scrap Cost and Cell Efficiency.
The Manufacturing Engineer requires:
o Degree qualified in a relevant Engineering / Science discipline, with 2+ years relevant experience.
o Experience in regulated industry, FDA, ISO, etc.
o High understanding of GMP, Compliance, Validation practices life cycle is desired
o Experience in CNC machining of Cobalt Chrome, Titanium & Plastics is desired
o Experience in UniGraphics CAM package is desired
o Experience in Foundry process is desired
o Demonstrated ability to lead significant projects to completion, on time and within budget
